IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE YOU!
Have you ever heard of the saying ‘life begins at 40’? Have you noticed the beauty and wisdom women gain as they age? Are you a lady turning 40 or already ANY age over 40? Then listen up!
What is the Life Begins at 40 project?
It’s a woman’s empowerment movement for ladies in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Let’s break the stigma around aging and celebrate the wisdom and beauty that women gain over the passing years.
The purpose of the project is to encourage women to celebrate themselves, embrace aging, and fall in love with themselves. Together we can inspire other women to put themselves first.
There will only be 40 participants and sessions are filling up. Each lady will be photographed and interviewed so that we can share everyone’s stories in a beautiful magazine which will be presented at a closing party at the end.
These ladies will enjoy professional hair and makeup services before their guided custom session (sessions can include headshots, branding, beauty, boudoir, or a mix), a feature in the magazine, and two tickets to the party.
Not only will this movement empower the 40 participants, it will also support an amazing local charity – $50 from each session will be donated to C.A.R.E. at the end of the project.
WARNING – Participating in the Life Begins at 40 movement will lead to increased confidence and self-love.
This movement is for women to tell the world, “I matter. I am important.”

The Life Begins at 40 Party
AT THE END OF THE PROJECT, WE WILL HAVE AN AMAZING PARTY TO CELEBRATE ALL OF THE FABULOUS LADIES WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS MOVEMENT. IMAGINE, A ROOM FULL OF EMPOWERED WOMEN CELEBRATING EACH OTHER’S BEAUTY, WISDOM, CONFIDENCE, AND POWER.
This will be a night to remember; a perfect opportunity to network with formidable local ladies. Bring a friend or loved one to celebrate with you.

The Session Fee is Only $690 $490 and Includes:
A personalized styling consultation
During your in-home styling consultation, we will select outfits from your closet that will flatter you and show the different sides to your personality. This is our chance to discuss your session in more detail and come up with the perfect vision for how you want to be photographed.
Professional Hair and Makeup artistry
You will begin your session with approximately one hour in hair and makeup. This is a fantastic way to relax and unwind before your session begins. The style of makeup applied will be tailored to your personal taste and can range from natural to glam! Makeup also includes false lash application to make your eyes really pop! Hair styling includes adding volume, straightening, or loose curls (other styles can be discussed at your consultation).
Up to a 2-hour portrait session
Your in-studio portrait session will include multiple outfit and background changes to cover a variety of looks. Most importantly I will be guiding you through poses to flatter your body type and make you look amazing. No longer will you be thinking ‘what do I do with my hands?’
Your favorite portrait
After your session we will look through your portraits together. You will be able to select your favorite portrait as a matted desk top print and receive a matching digital version. If you are tempted to purchase more portraits from your session you are absolutely welcome to! I am happy to help you select the ones you love and decide which format you would like to enjoy them in.
$50 donation to C.A.R.E
$50 from your session will be donated to C.A.R.E (Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies) to help empower women who have been victims of domestic violence.
Party Tickets
At the end of the project there will be a party to bring all the participants together and celebrate their stories. You and a guest will receive complimentary tickets.
Project Magazine
Your story and portraits will be featured in a digital magazine showcasing all of the participants.
